Aim.

The aim of this portfolio is to build up a fund which will produce an inflation proofed retirement income of at least £25,000 in today's money.

Strategy.

The fund invests directly in equities and collective investment funds, the strategy is based around Focus Investment but due to the requirements of certain pension schemes other criteria have to be taken into account. The strategy involves:-

Selecting a self investing pension plan administrator with easy to use facilities and low charges.
Taking direct equity holdings in UK listed companies where the Acorn portfolio strategy will apply.
Removal of collective funds with poor medium term performance and/or excessive charges.
